Italian ambition
- Historical context
- First World War
Italy's entry to the First World War is somewhat amusing, since they were technically in alliance with all parts. And in theory, it was actually the side that offered them the most money that they decided to fight with. Though, some say, that Italy had interests in lands Austria-Hungary held compared to France, but Italy could always get their former holdings in France back.
However, Italy desired more than it eventually got out of the war, which lead to an understanding of a failed victory and eventually to the rise of fascism in Italy.
